REGISTRATION STEPS FOR ATHLETICS

District Athletics is excited to offer a new opportunity for student-athletes and their families!  Families must register their student for sports online !

DO I NEED AN "ORANGE PERMIT TO PRACTICE CARD" TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY  PRESEASON SKILLS/DROP-INS?

NO!!...Participation in a sport prior to Nov. 12 for winter sports is considered voluntary and none of the below  required.

However, if athlete is planning to participate in the winter sports season, please do not wait until Nov. 12 to get "permit" as incomplete  registration/payment will delay participation/tryout!

ORANGE PERMIT TO PRACTICE CARDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR THE WINTER UNTIL AFTER OCT. 29TH (after first quarter grades  !  (See Step #5 & 6 below that explains  why an orange "permit" is required)

REGULAR OFFICE HOURS - hours of 7-1:00, 2-3:30 pm will take place.

HOW DO I REGISTER  FOR ONLINE FOR WINTER SPORTS - 2018????

STEP #1

  • If, you have not participated in a sport this school year (2018) you must register online (see the following  link).

In order to register ONLINE you must have a sportsengine account.   How do I do that??....

To Create a sportsengine  account  go to https://www.psdathletics.org/hsregistration, and follow instructions on creating an account with your email address.  (After clicking "Create Account" on sportsngin, an activation email will be sent to the email address you provided.  If you don't receive the activation email after 5 minutes, make sure to check your spam or junk mail folder).  This will bring you back to the website where you will already be logged in.  Click on the activation link.

NEXT...log into my sportsengine account and compete the form online.

  • If you have not participated this school  year, but your physical is current from last year (A physical is good for 365 days and valid for all sports throughout the school year). You must register per bullet point /link above.

  • DO I HAVE TO REGISTER ONLINE?  YES...beginning October 8, all winter athletes must register online (at above link if you have not registered this year).  However...If, you have been an athlete this past fall,  and your physical and paperwork was filed/current, you don't.

STEP #2

If you don't have a physical, or, your physical has/or is expiring soon, schedule your physical with your doctor asap.  Take the above form with you to the doctor .

(Note: it is the parent/students responsibility to know when the athlete's physical expires and plan accordingly to replace expired physical.  If physical expires during athletes sport season, athlete will not be allowed to participate further until a new physical has been brought in.)

Physical is good for one year.

The good news with the ONLINE process is you only have to print off one page (as opposed to printing off 5 pages before :) - 2018-19 HS Physician Certification of Student Fitness for Athletic Participation is the only form athlete must bring to get an orange card.

If athlete/parent is unable to access online registration, required forms can be found in the "News and Announcement" section of rockyathletics.org, or visit: Required Forms For Poudre School District Athletics

STEP #3 - FOR PSD STUDENTS ... pay*** for your sport on the following link:  https://psdschools.schoolpay.com./    Note you will have to find your account, or, create an account if you have not already done so.

***If you are on waived fees YOU MUST HAVE REAPPLIED for this school YEAR!!! To apply/re-apply go to:
https://www.psdschools.org/student-fees-and-charges

  • Scroll down to:  Qualifying Students May Apply to Have Fees/Charges Waived., follow instructions.

  • If you have been approved to have fees waived, you MUST still process a payment through school pay (log into school pay at www.schoolpay.com, select your student's sport, add that sport to the cart and it will show up as $0.00 dollars due) to process the payment and bring receipt in, along with your doctor's sheet to Ms. Seale (Athletic Secretary).
